The body of literature on thinking skills is abundant. It is the purpose of this special issue Participatory Educational Research (PER) to narrow the broader topic of thinking to a narrower examination of the current status of critical thinking, creative thinking, and computational thinking to identify effective methods for teaching and assessing the thinking skills of today’s students.
